The worst haircut of my life
I said short, before I could scream stop , he shaved my head with a # 2 blade and then said "it's not that bad !"
On top of that , they charge you more without asking you saying "your haircut is more than 6 weeks " without even asking
They should be closed down because they're incompetent and money grubbing and we have no recourse against their bad practices
I want to give negative stars , but I can't

Can a haircut make your jawline stronger and your face more symmetrical? Before I went to Quality Barbers, I would have said no. Now I realize that the answer is actually yes.

Somehow I hopped out of the barbershop chair with better posture and a stronger chin. I felt three inches taller than when I walked in.

And yes, I kid somewhat. But Renat was phenomenal, like da Vinci with clippers. (As it happens, Renat is also like da Vinci with oil paintings. Renat himself painted the beautiful portraits that adorn the walls of Quality Barbers).   

My fade's gradient was smooth and the lines were impeccably clean. I am not exaggerating when I tell you I got the best haircut of my life last Sunday night.

As you might expect, the price runs a bit higher than the average for the neighborhood ($59/$70 pre-tip). But Renat doesn't do average work. He makes masterpieces. And I left Quality Barbers feeling like I belonged in the Met.

There was an owner there and another experienced looking barber.

I got someone who was excellent, but was clearly studying with the other two on what he could do better, a protegé of sorts. He was great, but the owner asked me a question as he was billing me:

"How long has it been since you've had a haircut? Seems like you're overdue!"

Now look at the prices. See what would have to happen to be quoted $67 dollars, which I was, and promptly paid. Compare it to Supercuts. You understand?

Hey, if you got a bunch of stock brokers and yacht racers as your client base, who cares what I think, but for the working Joes, here's the skinny on this joint.

Daniel saved not my life" (literally) - but at least my head. After my long year hearcutter/dresser retired, i tried another one in the near - but the result was more an accident. Even with many others before i had near to no luck, because i have a whirl and "standard work" seems not to work well there. Weeks later i looked for professionals, and tried quality barbers first time to try a "repair" and i was impressed by the professional result. As the shop was new for me, i selected "choose available" and got Daniel assigned.

Daniel taked enough time and after the cut they washed my hair + dried it to cut it to the end and styled it - so the result works not only until next hair wash/shower. no hidden costs. absolute recommendation! will come back.

Made an appointment on a whim. Booked Ray. I see people on here complaining about cost... but the way I see it is you get what you pay for.... & I got the best haircut and beard trim I've ever had. Thanks!

The barbershop was clean and professional. Sammy cut my hair and did a great job. Highly recommend and will be back again.

It's a nice, relaxed environment where the barbers make you feel comfortable. Sani did a great cut for me (long to medium wavy) that'll last. He paid attention to what I asked for and made adjustments where he needed to.

It's an expensive haircut, but you get what you pay for. I'll be back next time I need one!

Quality Barbers is nice barber shop. I've going to Olga for years and followed her to this shop. I have Asian straight black hair, which can be difficult to get right on the sides and in general. She is consistently careful in fading the sides correctly and always checks her work. She is very meticulous and never rushes the hair cut. I high recommend Olga.

I've been coming here for the past four years. The barbers are very detailed and high quality. But two things now have me looking somewhere else. 1) they have increased their prices steeply over the past four years (40-50%) and 2) now the effort required to enter the contact and cc information to book an appt is more than it is worth.
At the end of the day, it is just a haircut. Perhaps they have conscientiously chosen to cater to a specific set of clientele now, those for whom getting a haircut is a significant part of a person's life.

Excellent service! Always down to earth and most important always impeccable quality! My barber is Ray always knows what I want and always delivers it, and even when I moved to Brooklyn for a few months I still went to quality barbers to get my monthly hair cut!
The recent price increase is nothing, like a dollar or two. Not even worth mentioning.
